So I Choose to Expose Myself
By Jeff Fecke | April 21, 2007
Oh Vox, really, haven’t you learned that when you mess with Pandagon, you’re going to get your ass whupped?
Today’s foolish Voxocology is in response to this post by Sheelzebub, who is angry as hell about the mouth-breathers who are harassing Devious Diva. (Funny, yet another woman getting harassed to within an inch of her life for daring to post her thoughts on the interweb. It’s almost like the A-listers’ casual dismissal of Kathy Sierra’s ordeal was a casual dismissal of all sorts of similar incidents. Huh. Go figure.)
Anyhoo, Vox, as usual, thinks he’s got the Pandagonians in a box:
You know, she just might want to have a little conversation with Amynda about the policy at Pandagon before she waxes too outraged over the whole thing.
Looks like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree—batshit crazy “Christian libertarian” Vox Day’s (real name: —- —-)
Zounds! Looks like Vox has found two posts of Amanda’s from 2006 showing that she’s told the world of his secret identity of Ted “Theodore” Beale! What an outrage! Why, I’m really upset at Amanda for….
Knock knock knock knock knock…knock knock
Who’s there? Why, it’s The Internets’ Auguste! What do you have there? A link, you say? From 1996, you say? Well, what does it say?
Theodore Beale
Apr 24 1996, 2:00 amI’m also more of a player than a collector. I own two companies that develop computer games and have a weekly reviews column that runs Mondays in the Pioneer Press under the name Vox Day.
Thanks to Sean Kelly, I now have two Vectrex’s to go with my
Intellivision, Atari 2600, ColecoVision, etc. But even though I love
the classics, I still appreciate the new stuff too.
So here’s what I think happened. Amanda Marcotte jumped in her time machine, traveled back to the year 1996, and then forced Vox to out himself. And no matter how hard Chris Clarke tries to deny that obvious fact, he just can’t prove it didn’t happen, now can he?
