Funny how some of the commenters thought that I was pushing violence. I was criticizing the government as the purveyor of violence. I was saying that when you fail to take responsibility for your own actions, your first impulse is to call for a law. Laws do not rely on voluntary compliance, and instead require government force (backed by the threat of violence) to be enforced. And so the person who “blames the patriarchy” is really just hell-bent on passing laws — the more draconian, the better.
I’m so happy to be in the spotlight.
