You know, it figures that I decide to take a day off from the internets on the day that my internet presence provider suspends my account for the late payment they never notified me was late. Thanks to those of you who mentioned it; had I checked email, I might even have had the site up, you know, yesterday.

Well, I’m going to miss your posts at Shakesville too (and I wish I were entitled to demand, you know, whatever details might actually be involved, because I’m a curious guy that way) but I guess I’ll just have to start reading and commenting at Moderate Left daily instead. Bonus.

It was simply time to move on for both of us, I’ll have a post up to address it shortly, but I agree with Melissa, there’s no animosity, and I wish Shakesville the best as well.

Waaaaait a minute, Jeff, do you have comcast? Because the exact same thing happened to me on the exact same day (minneapolis), which strikes me as a little too coincidental. Ah, Comcast, how I love thee.
